Congratulations to HSE Director John Duggan, Olgoonik’s Employee of the Quarter for Q2! John’s skillset has been vital to Olgoonik operations throughout the corporation as we track and adapt our business operations in response to the impacts of COVID-19. As Olgoonik’s designated response coordinator, John has worked closely with Shared Services departments to develop regular briefings for management and facilitated discussion of current events in our business hubs and at worksites around the globe. This role is in addition to his regular duties, implementing and monitoring corporate safety practices that reduce injuries and prevent lost work time.

His colleagues say he routinely involves them at all levels and treats them respectfully, encouraging everyone to share their ideas. They also say he has a wealth of safety knowledge and can quickly provide information and materials when needed.
